Bangalore, or Namma Bengaluru, as we fondly call it, is synonymous with quite a few things; IT, it’s climate :), traffic (ugh) and its nightlife. While it may have lost some of its sheen in the past few years due to the early shutdown; but with the recent order of extension throughout the week, Bangalore is back with its own sweet niche among other happening cities. Bangalore is bustling with bars with unique offerings, their old rock pubs, karaoke, world cuisine and its amazing social people. These are some of the must-try places in Bangalore.
Big Brewsky: What vada pao is to Mumbai, craft beer is now to Bangalore! Freshly brewed beer is here to stay and Bangalore is the capital and innovator in that. They have several house beer options varying in alcohol content and bitterness. You can get cool deals on Big Brewsky Bier. They also have live shows on some days. Reservation is highly recommended as this place is always packed.
Shiro is located at Bangalore’s most exquisite property, UB City. The restaurant is quite spacious, with an open beautiful bar where they also have parties. Their oriental food is authentic and I promise you will never forget the taste. They serve some devastating cocktails as well. The setting is divine with high ceilings and majestic Buddha statues. Again, reservation is strongly recommended. If you are new to the city you could arrive early and take a stroll in UB city (just don’t carry your credit card 🙂 ). Get amazing deals on Shiro here.
